Real Baby Yoga and Fake Baby Yoga

Okay, a bunch of gals were discussing this crazy video today. It’s a video of a woman using her little infant sized child as a baton. She swings the baby up and down, loopty loop, and practically turns him inside out with ringa round the rosies – oh, and lets not forget the old toss over the shoulder for good luck!!

I dont believe the video I saw on young turks was real, and I let my facebook friends know it, but they are critical of me saying it is a fake. They offered me many other images and articles to back up their claims. I was like “WHOA NELLY”, I can’t stands no more! I let it all slide with the notion that I don’t want it to be real. Watching this gal flip this thing, which looks like a baby human, around by its arm sockets was enough to make me Joanne Hurley.

I thought the whole episode was hilarious in watching the woman go through the motion as if this was an “OK” thing to be doing with her baby – just your average day out in the park.

I felt okay to laugh at it as if it were a SNL skit, but if this were a real event, forever forgive me! If I ever see somebody tossing a baby around like that, I hope I am not alone to witness such a thing because I might pass out or faint from the sheer realization that I may have to approach this maniac!

There’s a real and safe way to enjoy yoga with your child. I’ve seen many videos of parents enjoying yoga sessions – and there are no freak out moves to scare the baby or the youtube watcher.
