The Doctor Offered Me A Flu Shot OK

I got a flu shot today! The seasonal one, not the H1 pig flu shot . I haven’t had a flu shot in a while (8 years).

I wasn’t happy with the nurse telling me the side effects. I asked her what should I watch out for as far as bad reactions and she told me I’ll probably get a knot and soreness.

I said to her, “but I don’t have to worry about those things, right”, she said “right”. I said “what possible side effects SHOULD I be concerned with”, she said, “well, if you have problems breathing, then you should be concerned”, I looked at her as she continued speaking and she said, “other than that you should be OK”.

I don’t think she was prepared for an intensive battery of questions.
