Do I have common memory loss or am I on the verge of Alzheimers Disease?
As we get older, it’s normal for most of us to have some diminishing memory.
When our brain cells die, our brain won’t function as sharply, that’s where memory loss, and alzheimers disease makes it’s big announcenment!
Confusion and Memory loss! It messes up our day, even several times a day, sometimes it renders a person helpless to the point they can’t take care of themselves.
An example of memory loss that I learned about was a lady that put her wet clothes outside to hang on the line, she was distracted by a phone call, and then never remembered that her clothes were sitting on the back porch. Even some days later, she was looking for one of her garments, it didn’t even ring a bell that she had washed them. Another family member, who was visiting, made the discovery of her lost clothes. The lady revealed that she knew what her routine of hanging out the clothes was, but she did not recall leaving that particular laundry unfinished.
No laundry fairies here, folks, the poor gal was suffering from severe memory loss. Eventually she was placed in assisted living.
I would like to learn about more episodes that alzheimer sufferers have gone through. Please share whatever you know about alzheimer behavior in the comments section below.
Thanks and good luck handling this family stealer.
